Plant: 50 yr. old bulb “Bowiea volubilis”, aka “Climbing onion” or ‘zulu onion’
This particular bulb has rested all winter and when placed in good soil with coarse gravel added to insure good drainage, it will explode with even more vigorous growth. Mine of 50 years ago drew rounds of applause from viewers.

The photos of the flower were added on 8/28/25. Will add photos when in bloom. Well established root system You will receive the plant in the photos. Cactus will also be protected from cold with two different insulating materials.
