8″ Lucky Bamboo 6 Plants, Gift, Feng Shui Indoor PlantYou will receive 6 Healthy Lucky Bamboo Plants 8 inches long Perfect gift for your loved ones, family, friends, co-workers! Create and decorate your personalized lucky bamboo plant! All you need is to place them in your favorite vase, add distilled or purified water enough to cover the roots, add some pebbles, sand or rocks to hold them together. How to Grow in Water Fill the bottom of a container with pebbles and add enough water to rise to a couple of inches above the pebbles. The roots of the plant should be submerged. Change the water every one to two weeks in order to prevent rotting. The water should always look clear and smell fresh. How to Grow in Soil Use well-aerated potting soil with good drainage. Water so that the soil is kept moist but not waterlogged. Do’s & Don’ts: Container size: Choose a container that allows for at least one inch of space all the way around the plant so that the roots have room to spread. Light: Lucky bamboos are indoor plants. Place the plant in bright but indirect light. This plant cannot survive under direct sunlight; it will burn. You may need to periodically rotate the plant so that all sides receive equal light. Temperature: Keep the plant within a temperature range of 65℉ and 90℉. Do not place the plant near a heating or cooling vent. Water: Use water that does not contain chlorine or fluoride. These chemicals can affect the color of the leaves and make them turn yellow or brown. Distilled or purified water is best. If you will use tap water direct from the faucet, let the water sit for 24 hours to allow the chlorine to evaporate. Fertilizer: You can occasionally add a drop of liquid fertilizer to encourage growth. For best results, use a fertilizer that is specifically formulated for lucky bamboo—but be careful not to over-fertilize. They can live without fertilizer. Trimming: Remove dead or yellow leaves. Don’t worry they will sprout again! How to grow: 1. A cutting must be “calloused over,” meaning the cut end of the stem is dry and has sealed itself over in order to protect itself. 2. Place in a warm, airy location. Young succulents may not have the water supply to withstand direct sunlight, unlike adult plants. They do best in indirect sunlight. 3. Place your dry cut end approximately 1 to 2 inches into the soil. Make sure the soil drains well. Keep the leaves just above ground level. If you bury the leaves, there is more chance of them rotting. 4. Keep the soil slightly moist. Young succulent cuttings need a regular supply of water in order to stay alive and develop roots. However, succulents are adapted to dry climates and will usually rot if kept in soaking conditions. Try using a spray bottle or small pitcher to add water to the top of the soil as soon as it dries out, about every two or three days. *Keep in mind, this is general instruction. If the plant looks dry, give it a little more water, and vice versa. 5. Succulents will begin to root in anywhere from 2-6 weeks. When the roots have been established, the plant will then start to show new growth. Reduce watering as the plant develops. Once every 1-2 weeks should suffice.Return Policy: ALL SALES ARE FINAL, but certain exceptions warrant a return. Returns are accepted on a case to case basis.
