Plinia aureana is is somewhat precocious jaboticaba fruiting in 3-5 years. This makes a fast fruiting jaboticaba plant. Tree reaches 10-12ft in 5-8 years but also can be grown in pot for many years. Give them plenty of water, and low pH! With proper care can fruit almost all year round in Southern Florida or at least 2-3 harvests a year. Fruiting also in autumn and winter when is not so much fruiting plants around.
