Hardy in zones 3-9. This will have 500+ spores. These are a dust like seed that will in time be capable of producing 100s of ferns. It can take several weeks or even months for the spores to germinate and develop into small ferns. Keeping the soil mixture moist and patience is key. New fern seedlings will not necessarily look like the parent plant. In fact, many new cultivars are made by selecting from new seedlings. I will include germinating instructions that will take you through germinating spores to growing the heart shaped prothalli and then to the young seedling fern.
