This Neo is a beautiful medium to large-sized bromeliad. Origins are unknown, but it is believed to be part Concentrica, hence it’s larger size. This one has these amazing striations running lengthwise on the leaves. These striations are clear, even as a pup. As it grows, the base color is green with a purple/pinkish/reddish center and tips. In full sun and at maturity, as in the first 2 photos, this Neo becomes a very intense pink with almost orange/gold lower leaves. This one really takes on different colors depending on the light conditions. The first 2 photos are high sun conditions. This one averages 8″ to 12″ across at maturity. If they are super happy and fertilized, they can grow even wider, as in my first photo, which is about 18″ across. This auction is for a single plant pup similar to the last 4 photos. The Billbergia Pink Champagne is a spectacularly colorful bromeliad. The foliage, which is the greatest feature of this bromeliad, can be a blend of red, cranberry, hot pink or light pink, heavily spotted in white, much like tiny bubbles! The leaves tend to curl at the ends. The colors of the foliage are best developed in bright but filtered light. Height can max out upward of 24 inches. Your pup will be smaller, most likely around 8-12 inches. All plants have yet to produce a flower, which is a gorgeous red, white, and blue bloom. This auction is for a single plant pup, 1/4 to 1/2 the adults, similar to the smaller, greener pups shown in the last 3 photos. This Philodendron is named after the distinguished Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx. This plant is native to the tropical forests of Brazil, producing elegant, shiny, heart-shaped leaves. This fabulous plant will bring a tropical look to essentially anything. It loves to climb trees, grow in pots, or take over a landscape for fantastic ground covering. This plant will grow anywhere! This plant grows fast! This Neo is a Peterson hybrid of Lambert’s Pride x olens. It is an attractive small to medium-sized bromeliad with a circular full rosette. The overall color is a light tangerine-orange, suffused with tiny red speckles. The leaf tips are bright red and the cup turns bright red at anthesis. There is a nail on the end of each leaf. This Neo can take all sun types, full sun or shade. Nothing seems to hurt it, and I have mine in fuller sun conditions which seems to bring out the amazing colors.
