20 – 1/4″ to 3/4″ Aussie Hybrid Willow (Salix)tree cuttings,11+ inch length. Root buds begin in water after just 7 to 10 days . Also pictured are cuttings with growth from last year. This Australian Hybrid species when properly maintained and established will grow 4 to 8 feet per year. The will easily reach 40+ feet when mature. New annual growth is bright green. Theses trees will amaze you with their growth and many different looks depending the pruning you chose. They can be shaped, because if a branch is cut up to 4 will grow in its place. GROWING INSTRUCTIONS ARE included in the packaging as well. Thank You… WR FarmInstructions: To Start –When you get your cuttings place them in 6 to 8 inches of water. You can place them in a single bucket, quart size large mouth mason jars, or deep cell planting tray. On the farm I place them in a 5 gallon bucket separated by 1&1/2″ PVC, 8″ in length. When they are well root and have grown leaves, plant them in well saturated soil. Water them amply until they have a chance to establish roots into a planting pot or ground if it is saturated (three + weeks). In thoroughly saturated ground you can just drive them into the ground with a light pounding of a hammer. ** I have seen 3″ logs begin to grow by just laying on wet ground.
