There are usually 8-12 tomatoes growing on each stem. But, they have been ripening at different times. The 2-3 tomatoes closest to the plant will typically ripen first with another 2-3 ready the next day. Every day there are new tomatoes to harvest or snack on while gardening! The size of tomato is very close to the Florida Everglades. But, the flavor is quite a bit different! These tomatoes have a very deep flavor that you usually get from larger beefsteak tomatoes. The color is very dark red when fully ripe. The size is very small, about 1/2″ max. Although the tomatoes are very small, the plants will produce hundreds!
