Green Leafed, Legacy Norway Maple Seed (20pc) / Acer Platanoides / 100 Years Old
20 seeds from an estate grown, vase shaped, legacy Norway maple, planted in 1925-1929. These exceptionally large, fast growing trees are considered invasive, so due consideration is recommended. Seeds are fresh collected August, 2025, with no stratification. To get them to germinate, place in refrigerator for 90-120 days in a moist seed starting mix. The forest near to these founding trees is home to a population of densely leaved, nearly pendulous fellow Norway maples, indicating their capability to adapt to lower light. Seeds are listed at ten cents, with an additional 4 cents to cover their stamp 🙂
