Andy’s Polish Pink Tomato – Lycopersicon lycopersicum
A favorite of our friends at Occidental Arts and Ecology Center and a favorite of ours. Seed originally given to Doug Gosling, this tomato was brought from Poland in 1922 from a friend’s father named Andy. Did great in our cool Point Reyes summer. Amazingly delicious, meaty and juicy. Attractive pointed pink tomatoes with very few seeds. Very Rare tomato! Organic Italian Parsley – Petroselinum crispum
A wonderful herb fresh or dried. Parsley is widely used in American, European and Middle Eastern cooking. Great ingredient in stocks, soups and sauces. A complement to salads, potatoes, fish, stews and many other dishes. Remember germination can be slow! Parsley is also a host plant for the Black Swallowtail butterfly! Female butterflies lay their eggs only on certain host plants that will nourish the young caterpillars after they hatch. Organic Florence Fennel – Foeniculum vulgare
An heirloom fennel known as Finocchio in Italy. The celery like stalks and bulbs of this beautiful plant have a beautiful feathery blue green foliage. Fennel has a mild licorice flavor that is great raw in salads, tossed in stirfry’s, in soups and amazing roasted! Our fennel variety is great for containers. Offering a delicious anise taste and crisp texture, this heirloom will exceed all your expectations. We enjoy placing the stock in a glass of water for fabulous fennel essence in your water! A very abundant producer of unique looking creamy-yellow (blonde) cukes with tiny black spines. No need to peel these sweet, crisp, delicate fruits! Best when eaten around 4″ long. Does well in containers.

This unique, pretty cucumber is prized by gourmet chefs for its delicate flavor and crisp flesh. Deriving its name from its yellow skin, shape and size. Love in a Mist – Nigella damascena
A stunning old fashioned annual flower from the buttercup family. Native to southern Europe and northern Africa. Easy to grow and does great in marginal soils. The black aromatic seeds have been used for culinary and medicinal purposes. The seeds have a slightly bitter, oregano like flavor. Considered to be excellent as a cut flower as well as for dried arrangements. Known for its beautiful and unusual horned seed pods. Is also known as devil in a bush.
