Compact growing vanda species that produces very long inflorescence of starshapped white blooms with heavy markings on the sepals in dark maroon to oxblood. Vanda lamellata is well used in breeding for its flower count and lovely two tone colored blooms that passes down to its progeny. Mature plants that are well grown will produce several inflorescence on a plant and seems to last for weeks in bloom and the delightful fragrance is just the cherry on top of the cake.Great plant for any collector, will grow well in a green house or established int he landscape where possible.
