It is most often ingested to soothe the stomach. Additionally it is used in aromatherapy for headaches. How to care for Peppermint Plants: Peppermint thrives in moist to boggy soils. Ideally you would want to grow it in loam however you can grow it in many soil types that soak and hold in water. It is perennial in zones 3-11 however, it can also be grown indoors for those in colder climates. If you live in a hot climate, you will want to plant it in a somewhat shaded area.
