Chinese Winter Jasmine When most everything else in your garden still brown and dormant in the winter, use winter jasmine to add masses of bright yellow flowers on leafless green stems. Originated from China, fast easy growing, tolerant of poor soils, full sun or shade, zone 6-10, unscented funnel shaped flowers about 1″ wide produced from November through March. It is easy to train on wires or trellis or tie several plants to the stake and let the long branches cascade (see picture). Blooming heavily during “TET” Vietnamese, Chinese Lunar New Year.
