1200+ Radish Seeds [White Icicle] Heirloom, Non-GMO, Natural, Vegetable Seed
Untitled DocumentStoreFeedbackFollow UsWhite Icicle Radishis a unique heirloom variety that dates back to the early 1900s. Rather than the classic round, these radishes showcase a cylindrical, elongated shape and bright white color. Their appearance resembles an icicle, hence the name White Icicle. Like other radishes, this variety prefers the cool temperatures of the spring and fall months, but it is recommended to plant in full sun. White Icicle Radishes are crisp and juicy with a mild spicy favor. They will keep well in a refrigerator or root cellar, making them a great choice for home cooks who enjoy fresh produce from the garden. Use these radishes raw or cooked and will also do well in canning or pickling. Due to their long shape, these radishes also go great peeled and placed on a veggie tray with some dip and other garden-fresh choices like Boston Pickling Cucumbers or Little Finger Carrots. ☼ Each Order Comes With Detailed Planting Instructions ☼Seed Quantity You will receive 1200+ White Icicle Radish Seeds per ‘1 quantity’ ordered NOTE: To conserve resources we combine all orders of duplicate seed quantities of the same variety into one pack. HOLLYHOCK (Alcea rosea) Old Fashioned, Single layer heirloom flowers that usually don’t bloom until the second year (which is why they are a biennial), but some of these DID bloom the first year, but they were just very small and there weren’t very many blooms. But, the SECOND year (all the pics here are of 2nd year plants), they went crazy. And some of them got over 8ft tall. I just recently (mid July) had to cut them down because they just got TOO tall, and they started to look a bit poorly, and now they are coming back again and setting blooms all over. They are amazing. And the bees and butterflies absolutely go crazy over them. Random Color MIX: Could be the following: White with pink, Cream with brown, Pink with white, Mauve, Deep Burgundy, White with yellow, Deep Red with Yellow, Deep Pink ALL of the seeds I sell in my shop are all naturally grown/organic, or collected from wild plants growing here on our own property which are 100% clean and healthy. They are from the most recent harvest either the current year or fall of previous year, and are kept in cold storage. They are tested for viability and only harvests that have between 80 and 95% germination rate are offered for sale. They are hand sorted and counted so that only the highest quality seeds are sent out. Because the flower spikes get so tall, they make a fantastic border/screen. And you definitely want them to be in the BACK because they got VERY tall!!! Some of them were almost as tall as the Mammoth Sunflowers and they get like 10 ft tall. They like FULL SUN and moderate water; Once established they are somewhat drought tolerant, they can take mild drought conditions, but will begin to be affected after a while without water, in higher heat conditions. So they do need to be watered deeply at least every couple of weeks, when there isn’t much rain. Aside from being a beautiful cottage flower, the flowers are also edible, and actually quite tasty. Germination time: From 10-21 Days Planting Depth: 1/4″ Sunlight: Indirect Light Soil Temperature: 60-65 degrees is ideal for germination (can be slightly less or more) Plants should be about 2 feet apart, they need a LOT of space!! So thin seedlings, or transplant with lots of space in between. We <3 permaculture style all natural gardening and totally enjoy sharing the fruits of our labor with our friends here on Etsy~ Every order is a blessing, and we want all of our fantastic buyers to be 100% happy with their purchase. So contact us ASAP if you aren't (for any reason) thrilled with your order. Happy and Blessed Growing!!!!

Dwarf (Mimosa pudica) “Sensitive Plant” Tropical Houseplant Flower Tree Seeds
Dwarf (Mimosa pudica) “Sensitive Plant” SeedsMimosa pudica earned its nickname “sensitive plant” from its reaction to stimulation. Its leaflets quickly turn inward when touched or shaken. The reason is up for debate. One explanation is that it is a form of predatory defense, exposing the thorn-covered stems. It makes a Great Indoor Houseplant With plenty of light and lots of water, even an amateur houseplant hobbyist can enjoy the delicate foliage and unique movement of sensitive plant in the home. The leaves of a sensitive plant are lined with tiny hairs that are highly responsive to touch, temperature, and motion, folding inwards when triggered. The plant also closes its leaves at night. This response to various forms of stimulation is a part of this plant’s natural defense mechanism. Sensitive plant has delicate, fern-like leaves and light purple flowers that resemble small pom-poms. Young plants grow upwards but quickly develop an outward creeping habit. Sensitive plants are not very shade-tolerant. They thrive with eight hours of daylight and can tolerate partial shade, but languish badly in full shade. When growing them indoors, the ideal location is directly in front of or beside a bright sunny window. If the leaflets remain closed during the day, it indicates that the plant is not receiving enough light. Well-draining, loamy soil is ideal for a sensitive plant growing in the landscape; its roots cannot survive in severely compacted soil. Enhance the soil with peat moss to improve drainage. In its natural environment, the sensitive plant lives in soils that are low in nutrients. Therefore, it does not require overly rich soil or frequent fertilizing. When grown as a houseplant, a standard commercial potting mix is a good growing medium. Keep the soil consistently moist for a sensitive plant but not waterlogged. The sensitive plant cannot handle wet feet and will develop root rot if left sitting in excess water. As a general principle, water a sensitive plant once the top of the soil begins to dry out. Water sensitive plant a little more sparingly in the winter. Potted specimens thrive in typical indoor temperatures of 65 to 75 degrees. The sensitive plant enjoys moderate to high humidity. Unless your house is particularly dry, the average household humidity should be sufficient for a sensitive plant. In regions where winter air is especially dry, run a humidifier close by or place the sensitive plant pot on top of a tray of pebbles filled with water to increase humidity.Outdoors Zones 9-11Sensitive Plant Germination:1) Rub seeds with a piece of sandpaper to scarify.2) Soak seeds in warm water for 24 hours.3) Press seeds into a well mixed & draining seed starting mix, but do not cover them completely as they need light to germinate.4) Use a heated propagator mat to keep the soil at 75 degrees F., and keep them exposed to bright light.5) When kept at 75 degrees F., expect germination to occur within 21-40 days. Cooler temperatures will result in longer germination time.”Please Contact us First if You Need Anything”
