A bit from 5/16″-11/32″ is commonly used including the metric 8.5mm in between. Many suppliers have adapters that fit angle grinders that make the process much faster. Also a collar can be used on the bit (or a simple wrapping of tape) to ensure appropriate hole depth. Made to order to ensure freshness, these sometimes will take approx 7-10 days to ship although I try to have some in stock ready to ship immediately, large orders of several thousand sometimes wipe out the immediately available inventory.
