Our seeds have been processed to remove most of the seed coat , This step encourages germination. For Best Results, When you receive your seeds: Soak windmill palm seeds in warm water for 24 hours, Then simply place them in a sealed dated zip lock bag with damp potting mixture. (Damp mixture only- Not Soaking wet) Place in warm spot like the top of your refrigerator until sprouts appear.I use a mixture of Perlite and Peat moss for best results but some people use potting soil. Plant the seeds 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep. Although you can plant them directly in the soil I prefer to use small pots until trees have at least four leaves then transplant into ground soil . The roots are much more established by doing this.
