Common Burdock is a biennial plant that grows up to 6 feet tall and three to four feet wide. It will not flower in the first year but will form a large rosette. Burdock grows almost anywhere, along ditches, roadsides, in gravel and poor areas. Simply plant the seeds out in the fall by covering with a quarter inch of soil and pack down and they will emerge in the spring. You may also start indoors 8 to 10 weeks before wanting to plant outdoors, by covering the seed with a quarter inch of soil and keep moist until it germinates within 14 to 21 days. If you do not want this plant to grow everywhere, then snip off the flowers after they fade. 35 seeds per pkg.
