They will arrive in a 1 gallon growers pot and are carefully hand packed in a protective sleeve for shipment You will receive the entire root ball and soil in the container, rather than just a bare root. Persian Lime Trees are hybrid trees that are a cross between key lime and lemon. When planted in the ground, they can grow up to ten feet tall! You can enjoy attractive green leaves, with beautiful white blossoms that transform into fresh, smooth limes. Lime trees bear fruit multiple times during season that are about 4 inches in diameter. Carefully remove any packaging from the planter and select a place with the highest elevation and most available sunlight (at least 6-8 hours of sunlight per day). 2. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Set the top of your root ball even with your ground level, and fill back the soil to the ground level and tamp. 3. Newly planted trees should be watered regularly for the first three months, if rains are inadequate. The soil should dry down between watering. Do not overwater."
