This is the incredibly hard to find plant Piper Methysticum . The plant is cultivated for its medicinal properties. The root of a mature plant is what is commonly harvested for its use. This particular plant is the variety known as "ISA". It grows nicely in warm, moist, humid, tropical places. This listing is for a 5 inch+ starter plant. Like any plant, there may be imperfections and discolorations and the plant will look like the picture more or less. I grow lots of plants and will sell hundreds of these plants and each one is slightly different. I will ship within a day sometimes the same day ebay tells me that your money is good. There is a 5 day handling time which allows for the occasional days where I cant ship. I run a nursery first and foremost and sometimes things break or there are other issues which are beyond my control which may prevent quick shipping. I do not use chemicals or pesticides so there may be an occational hole or wound from an in insect. That does not mean the plant is unhealthy If you have an issue with the plant please notify me within 24 hours of delivery. After that, it is your responsibility to raise the plant.
