Up for auction are organically grown Mint plants fresh from my garden. You will receive well rooted large healthy plants in 3 to 4 in. pots like those pictured. These are my favorite varieties: Apple, Basil and variegated Ginger, Lime, Orange, Double and Candy Mints. Occasionally Banana Mint is offered depending on season.Interesting info on Double Mint (originally from Mulberry Creek Herb Farm)Mentha x gracilis ‘Madalene Hill’ 2 - 3 x 3 feet Tea, Bees, Culinary, Medicinal This variety is also known as “Red Stemmed Apple Mint” for its ruby stems. Think of a tea that has both the oils of peppermint and spearmint or in other words it smells precisely like “Wrigley’s DoubleMint Gum.” Bareroot starts are also offered, they will have young roots and will grow fast once potted or planted if watered well. They will be offered $3.50 for 2-3 starts (same variety) and you can add different varieties, any but Banana which is too delicate to survive unpotted.
