Ornithogalum caudatum Pregnant Onion Bulb. This plant from South Africa does not withstand much cold, though I grow it dryish in winter on my southern California porch. It is great as a foliage house plant. The bulbs grow on top of the soil, and new bulbs sprout like green pimples from the bulb. It will increase also by seeds.
