This vine grows well when their roots are cool.. so I suggest once it gets established to plant a ground cover around where you plant it... The germination period could be long but it is well worth the wait. For it to germinate well it needs full Hot Sun with temps of 80 degrees for 6 hrs. per day I have done that with all my clematis vines and they are doing super! Plant in Full to partial Sun.
