Growing Info & Tips Cuban Oregano, also known as Mexican Mint and Indian Borage, is a powerful perennial herb with succulent like thick leaves. It is easy to grow from cuttings. It roots quite quickly, usually within a few weeks, and from there it will grow steadily and large enough that you will have a bountiful harvest from these cuttings within a year. It grows as a perennial in Zones 9a-11 and with frost protection and can be grown as an annual or in greenhouses in Zones 4+.
