Lemongrass stalks are harvested the same shipping day. Lemongrass is a wonderful source of vitamins, minerals and is believed to have many health benefits. Plants thrive in moist soil with full sun. Above 5 inches from the base, solid stem, is where the flavor hides. Rooting the lemongrass stalks we shipped:1. Put the stalks in a jar or vase and fill about 3 inches of water. Place the jar in a sunny location.2. Change the water every other day.3. Wait for the roots to emerge maybe up to a couple of weeks 4. Until the roots are about 2-3 inches long before planting them5.
