Candytuft Iberis Sempervirens is a perennial flower that grows best in full sun to light shade. Reaching heights of 10" their blooms are so captivating that you can seldom see the foliage. Great for cascading down walls, from a hanging pot, ground cover, and borders. Birds, bees, and butterfly's will thank you for planting Candytuft seeds, with their intoxicating fragrance and beautiful blooms in shades of pink, purple and white in the spring lasting until middle of summer. There isn’t a creature on earth who doesn’t appreciate these versatile and adaptive little flowers! These beauties are great for borders, walkways, or edging. Deer resistant. best zones 3-9 Plant 12-18" apart. Place two to three seeds into each pot or (spot if you direct sowing in warm climates), gently pushing them into the soil, and cover with no more than 1/16 inch of soil. Candytuft require light to germinate so seeds should be just barely covered. Germination time for candytuft varies from two to four weeks. Candytuft will return each year giving it that grand display of color again and again. Requires well drained soil and occasional watering.
