This varieties flower has a very potent and wonderful floral smell and produces thick a shampoo that has many uses. You will receive 3 fresh rhizomes. Harvested and carefully packaged immediately before shipping, these rhizomes are as fresh as can be, ensuring maximum potency and viability. To help ensure your plants safety during transit, they may be packaged with recycled materials. Growing, harvesting and uses:Place your rhizomes in loose potting soil. Keep moist and warm. *Note: ginger has a dormancy period and also grows underground before it appears above groundFoliage will appear in mid to late spring with dank flowers to follow.Allow the flowers to grow, mature, and be harvested undisturbed. When the flowers are mature they should be harvested upright and cut right below where the flower meets the stem. Place flowers in bowl, stem down making note to protect the flower when harvesting.
