This listing is for a package of 30 Rudbeckia Cherry Brandy seeds. AKA Rudbeckia Hirta. Perennial. Full sun. These beautiful perennial flowers (zone dependent) are favorites of pollinators. These plants have a long bloom period. Typically from summer through first fall frost. Excellent cut flowers for bouquets! Cut and come again in nature for a long season of exquisite flowers. These plants are likely to self seed if the final blooms are left on the plant through fall/winter. Blooms left are also an interesting focal point in the garden after much of the plants have turned in. Blooming in first year will depend on how established the plants become in the first year. Patience is absolutely rewarded with these gorgeous flowers. These are truly one of a kind and turn heads in our gardens year after year! Sow seed directly outdoors a couple weeks before your regions last frost date. Light aids in germination so if covering only dust lightly with soil. Can be started indoors in advance up to 5 weeks before desired transplanting. Tender perennial (your growing zone dependent) Seed may benefit from stratification prior to planting.
