These Aloe Vera (barbadensis) live plants have all been grown from a single plant that is more than a decade old. These plants propagate on their own which lets you grow many plants from a single plant. You can grow them indoors in pots, outdoors in pots or plant them directly in the ground. The individual plant you will receive is medium to large sized, with the largest leaf at least 8" in leaf length. Photos are actual photos of plants all grown from the original plant. The plant you will receive will look similar to the plant in the photo with ruler and bare roots showing. The plants are cultivated right before shipping so they are fresh! I personally use the gel from the leaves on a daily basis as a face moisturizer. A large leaf can be clipped and placed in the refrigerator to be used over a one to two week period. They require minimal watering and medium sun. In large pots (as seen in photo), the leaves can grow to more than 2 feet! When properly maintained (typically outdoors with good sun and water), they can grow cool looking flowers like seen in the photo.
