Origanum Kent Beauty, also known as Ornamental Oregano, is a stunning plant highly prized for its long-lasting clusters of exquisite flowers and attractive foliage. This award-winning variety, recognized by the Royal Horticultural Society, is a semi-evergreen, bushy subshrub with gracefully trailing stems densely adorned with small, rounded, silver-veined, blue-green, aromatic leaves. Throughout the summer, it adorns gardens with pendulous, papery pink, cream, and pale green, hop-like flowers. Kent Beauty is a true showstopper, perfect for brightening up sunny borders and adding charm to containers, hanging baskets, or window boxes. Its lovely flowers also make it a delightful addition to dried flower arrangements. A hybrid between Origanum rotundifolium and Origanum scabra, Kent Beauty is mainly grown for ornamental purposes and is not typically used for cooking.Kent Beauty thrives in sunny areas with good drainage. Once established, it can withstand heat and drought.
