You will receive (3) hardwood cuttings/branches total 5 with (no root), no flowers, but branches/stem cuttings/plant only. This plant produces lots of pretty Lavender flowers. Flowers make beautiful cut flowers for a table centerpiece or any arrangements. Photos in listing are for reference only, we will send out good healthy mature branches/stems, cuttings/plant about 8" long. Since this a cut fresh upon order, we cannot provide a photo of exact one that will be sent out, we will select the best healthy cuttings for you. Please buy with confidence. The branches grow upright and will not droop except when in flower. The leaves emerge late in the spring. Leaves are medium to dark green in summer with no or poor yellow fall color. For a tropical look, even in cold climates, add rose of Sharon to your yard. This hardy flowering shrub has showy flowers that bloom from Mid-Summer into Fall.Rose-of-Sharon is a strong bloomer, once mature, this plant is very easy to care for, hardy to cold temperatures, low-maintenance plant, tolerate, drought. We grow this plant wildly. This is a must-have plant in your garden. The whole tree will be filled with beautiful flowers. Please choose the best method.Soil Mixtures: Use well-draining soil blend mix, 50% Miracle-Gro potting soil, 50% Cactus mix soil, 20% - 30% Perlite or You may use soil method that will work for you to root the cutting.Rooting in Soil: Rooting the cuttings in soil, we suggest start with a 4” pot, simply dig a hole about 2", dip cuttings in rooting hormone (optional), insert cuttings side in, cover back up with soil and add water. After planting keep the plant in a warm area either partial sun or shade area. Keep the soil moist, do not let the soil dry out. We recommend research the Internet for more detail. The rooting process needs a lot of heat/humidity to develop roots. Keep moist at all times until you start to see roots or new growth, you can transfer into a bigger pot when roots are strong enough. Roots should start to develop be between 1 – 4 weeks.Rooting in Water: You can also plant the cuttings in a glass of water to encourage root growth. Place your cuttings in a jar of water, leave them in room-temperature water, changing the water frequently, and maintain a little ambient humidity. Roots should start to develop between 1 - 4 weeks, once roots developed you can transfer into Pot or in Ground.- On well-established plants. Water often and fertilizer during the growing season if necessary.- Keep moist, water regularly- Prefers Full-Sun for mature plants.- Blooms: Summer throughout Fall (in warmer areas blooms year-round).- Fertilizer: You may choose what works for you or use Miracle-Gro All Purpose during spring- Pest: Unknown here at our locationWINTER Rooting: Best to start rooting during winter, then they will be ready to be planted when spring comes.
